There is no doubt that entrepreneurship and innovation are important for the economic growth of a nation. Any person who has got a plan or idea to execute for the interest of all should come and join OHED. Together, we will run a startup and contribute to the economic growth of the DR Congo. One of the main advantages of OHED startup programs is that it creates new jobs and financial opportunities to community groups while being financially independent
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
At OHED, economies are powered by innovation. Much of that innovation derives from forward-thinking individuals who possess the drive, skills, and background to turn a business vision into reality. However, the importance of entrepreneurs extends beyond the effect those individuals have on their own group. They impact their broader communities, and, in some cases, even the entire town or village.
Some OHED members have become good entrepreneurs while playing a pivotal role in the growth of their economies. They thus spur local industry transformations, create entirely new markets, and help to build resilient communities in urban and rural areas.
VILLAGE LOANS AND SAVINGS ASSOCIATION (VLSA)
VLSA can be an important resource for those interested in entrepreneurship. Members pay in their contribution to the social fund and buy shares (savings). Starting from the 3rd or 4th month, the VSLA allows the members who request it to take out a loan with interest ) for up to three times of their individual total savings. At the end of each cycle, all the loans are paid off, and any savings and profits are shared between the members in proportion to the number of shares held. More on VLSA
